Use of a Jejunal Pouch in Treating Post-Gastrectomy Malnutrition

Abstract
Two patients suffering severe nutritional deficiency associated with refractory anemia following 75% or greater gastrectomy are presented. A jejunal pouch interposition between stomach and duodenum improved total food intake accompanied by significant weight gain and correction of severe anemia.Keywords
