Disopyramide was given orally to 35 patients with supraventricular cardiac arrhythmias. All but one of the 19 patients who reverted to sinus rhythm did so without any major haemodynamic complication. Disopyramide appeared to be an effective and safe antiarrhythmic drug. Keywords
