Abstract
Five fluorinated p-benzoquinone compounds were given bioassays to determine their fungistatic potencies in relation to spores of Macro-sporium sarcinaeforme. Although all 5 compounds were found to be effective in preventing germination of M. sarcinaeforme spores, 2,5-difluoro-l,4-benzoquinone was the most efficient in that remarkable low dosages were required. Keywords
