Abstract
The Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale was administered to 61 female participants in community childbirth preparation classes. Further support for the internal consistency reliability of the scale ( alpha = 0.90) was obtained, and patterns of differences between item means were similar to those of previous research. The scale was correlated, in expected directions, with church attendance and income, as well as with two measures of spouse's supportiveness of the participant. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
