Abstract
The electron spin resonance spectrum of the cycl(3,2,2)azine anion has been analysed. The value of the hyperfine interaction of two of the ring protons depends on whether the ion is prepared using sodium or potassium. A molecular orbital calculation including configuration interaction predicts spin densities in good agreement with those observed. Keywords
