Abstract
The properties of superheated drops for use in neutron detectors and dosemeters have been observed qualitatively in the past. We have recently made the first comprehensive estimation of the response to different energetic neutrons of a detector based on superheated drops. The results of this study suggest that with further refinements, such a detector/dosemeter may be a desirable alternative to existing techniques for neutron dosimetry. Keywords
