Abstract
Posture in man is maintained by a delicate balance of complicated reflexes. A disturbance of this balance is reflected swiftly in a wide variety of circulatory manifestations. Postural studies require no special equipment and can easily be performed at the bedside. Unless the internist is alerted to the importance of postural influences many diagnoses will be overlooked or misinterpreted. Keywords
