Abstract
Female larvae of Cydia pomonella (L.) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) received a single topical application of a juvenile hormone mimic methoprene, at various intervals during the fifth (last) stadium. Adult survival rates were >75% when newly ecdysed, last-stadium larvae were treated with 0.01 to 1.0 μg of methoprene; however, survivorship decreased in populations treated later in that instar. The fecundity of surviving adults was reduced by 0.01 μg of methoprene applied to day 2 and day 6 5th instars. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
