An exact formula for the number of spiral self-avoiding walks

Abstract
An exact closed-form expression is obtained for the number sn of spiral self-avoiding walks with n steps on the square lattice. This result is used to derive a complete asymptotic expansion for sn which is valid as n to infinity .Keywords
