Abstract
The fact that young adult leptosynap-tids swim is not generally recognized by students of the Holothuria. After dark, during Aug., 1944, and Aug. and Sept., 1945, a total of 35 small (30 to 50 mm. in length), colorless, transparent L. inhaerens were observed swimming near the surface of the water in Eel Pond at Woods Hole, Mass. The swimming movements are analyzed and described. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
