Abstract
Cultures of osteoblast-like cells from a rat sarcoma and osteoblast-enriched populations of rat calvarial cells synthesize and secrete a true collagenase and collagenase inhibitor. The enzyme, which is produced in a latent form, appears to be similar to the enzyme produced by fibroblasts. Keywords
