Abstract
Currents recorded off the Mississippi River delta at the Cognac and OTEC sites for 1.8 years show that mean speeds of 0.9-1.7 foot per second persist at depth (~ 300-600 ft) during discrete Events. Eleven Events lasted an average of 8 days,
