Abstract
Botryosphaeria piceae n. sp. is a parasite which causes perennial cankers of Picea sitchensis (Bong.) Carr. and P. engelmannii Parry in British Columbia. The affected branches may remain alive for many years. The fungus has been found only in the sexual state, producing ascospores chiefly in early spring. Keywords
