Abstract
Summary The formation, in culture, of structures resembling spherules has been described for Coccidioides immitis. Certain conditions concerned with their production have been discussed. It is suggested that spherules formed in culture represent a normal stage in the life cycle of the strains of Coccidioides immitis in which they were found. Keywords
