Antenna pattern synthesis using a relaxation method: application to printed antennas

Abstract

An antenna pattern synthesis method based on a relaxation technique is proposed. The radiation pattern of the elementary source and the interelement spacings are taken into account. Two examples of linear printed arrays are computed: sector pattern and directive broadside pattern.
