Abstract
A discussion of the effects, particularly of day temp., night temp. and seasonal temp. differences, on the development, flowering and fruiting of plants. The occurrence of plants in particular climates is due to the temp. and light requirements of the species which can be met by these climates. Increase in our knowledge of the climatic factors most important for plants may lead in the future to weather control for crops.
