Abstract
July and January seem to be the peak months for rainfall, mosquito abundance and yellow fever incidence in the Amazon region of Brazil and in portions of Colombia, although there is no free season. In the more sparsely forested region of e. Brazil the disease is seldom present from June-Oct., which coincides with the dry season and the absence of active mosquitoes. Keywords
