Abstract
The magnetic fields at which magnetic-surface-state transitions occur were measured as a function of sample orientation in the three principal planes of zinc. These low-field microwave-frequency transitions dominate the surface impedance from 0 to 100 Oe. Three distinct series are presented and these are assigned to regions on the Fermi surface. The anisotropy of these series is compared with predictions of orthogonalized-plane-wave band models. The Fermi velocities on the third-band lens are extracted and presented. Keywords
