Abstract
The chemical structure of platycodin-D, C57H92O28, [.alpha.]D21-32.3.degree. (MeOH), which was isolated from Platycodi Radix (root of P. grandiflorum A. DC.) was elucidated on the basis of physical data of platycodin-D, its derivatives and degradation products. Platycodin-D is the 1st example of a saponin containing apiose in the sugar moiety. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
