Abstract
This paper begins with the thesis that all illness is psychological, social and organic, and to effectively treat any patient, salient information in each area is necessary Through clinical examples, it highlights the unconscious concerns children have when visiting a doctor, going to a hospital, or having surgery These concerns, along with modes of thought, are described within a developmental framework.Keywords
