Abstract
A glycoprotein has been obtained from reticulin tissue. The structure of the glycoprotein is 2 peptide chains connected with bridges of oligosaccharides. Three pairs of oligosaccharides occur in the molecule. One of each pair contains galactose and three N-acetyl glucosamines and the other contains mannose and three N-acetyl glucosamines. The first one is bound to the peptide chains with ester bonds and the latter with ether bonds. A tentative picture of the structure is given. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
