Abstract
Two cases of acute Wernicke's encephalopathy with severe hypothermia as the major presenting feature are reported. Treatment with thiamine was rapidly introduced, but hypothermia nevertheless persisted for several weeks, at times masked by intercurrent infections.Keywords
