Abstract
Enantioselective α-deprotonation–rearrangement of medium-sized (8-, 9- and 10-membered) cycloalkene-derived meso-epoxides using organolithiums in the presence of (–)-sparteine gives bicyclic alcohols in good yields and ees.Keywords
