Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to describe, examine, and discuss a relevant method for quantifying social behavior. The investigation is extended to each stage of the study: the process of observation, the different codes (observing, paper recording, computer storage), the programs, the numerical data reduction, and statistical testing, if reasonable models are available. Keywords
