Abstract
Reanalysis of the 700-MeV inelastic scattering experiment of Abashian, Cool, and Cronin leads to a contradiction with recent suggestions of a neutron-rich surface or "halo" unless one admits neutron distributions with sharp edges and with peaks near the surface.
