Abstract
In postmortem examination of carcasses of White Leghorn chickens, 3 had typical gross lesions of necrotic enteritis [thought to be caused by Clostridium perfringens] affecting the small intestines. The occurrence of avian necrotic enteritis was noticed after an outbreak of coccidiosis subsided. On the basis of the gross and microscopic examination the disease was differentiated from coccidiosis and ulcerative enteritis. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
