Abstract
Superconductivity has been observed in uranium compounds with partly disordered Au-type crystal structure and interatomic U–U distances of more than 4 Å. Low-temperature specific-heat experiments reveal no anomalous enhancement of the electronic specific heat thus distinguishing the present materials from the unconventional superconductors and .
