Abstract

[omicron],[omicron]-Diethyl [omicron],[rho]-nitrophenyl thiophosphate, when mixed with soil, produced plant tissue lethal to young larvae of the European corn borer feeding on corn plants growing in this soil mixture. It was evidently taken up by the plant roots and circulated through the plants.
