PRIMARY PULMONARY HISTIOCYTOSIS-X

Abstract
A histologically proved case of primary pulmonary histiocytosis X is presented with data from a 7-year follow-up study which began after the first evidence of roentgenographic changes, and about 5.5 years after the development of the first symptoms. The patient'' s chest roentgenogram was normal 26 months prior to the first film revealing abnormalities. The patient received no treatment, and the course has been benign.
