Relation between the Canonical and Grand Canonical Ensemble

Abstract
The "conventional" pressure in a grand canonical ensemble is shown to be, in the limit of infinite systems, identical with the canonical pressure, whenever the canonical pressure exists. The average density in a grand canonical ensemble is shown to exist except at condensation.
