Abstract
New measurements of the free energy and entropy of mixing and association thermodynamic properties of liquid Na-TI alloys at three temlperatures are reported. A thermodynamic model is developed and fitted to these with success but the failure of the model to fit the properties of Na-Ga is reported. The problems involved in fitting thermodynamic models are discussed. Keywords
