Abstract
This article covers several topics relevant to a proposed control system that include the three principal components of a system: information assembly; logical application; and, remote control. The Dallas (Texas) City Water Works has had several years of experience in applying digital computers in the solution of water network design problems. This experience has been built up to the extent that concepts for computer control of water system operations have naturally developed. The effectiveness of the computer‐programed logic, which enables the engineer to analyze network operations, has also increased. Keywords
