$\frac{J}{ψ} \to vector + pseudoscalar$ decays and the quark content of $η$ and $η^{'}$

Abstract

Branching ratios of

\frac{J}{ψ}

decays into

ω π^{0}

,

ω η

,

ω η^{'}

,

ρ η

,

ρ η^{'}

,

φ η

,

φ η^{'}

, and

K^{*} (892) \bar{K} + charge

conjugate are measured from the 8.6 ×

10^{6}

\frac{J}{ψ' s}

produced by the DM2 experiment at the Orsay

e^{+} e^{-}

storage ring DCI. The

η

and

η^{'}

mesons are found consistent with a

q \bar{q}

structure and a mixing angle

θ_{P} = (- 19.1 \pm 1.4) °

.
