Abstract
We present a new measurement of the meson lifetime based on 31 of interaction data taken at √s =29 GeV. The data were recorded with the upgraded Mark II detector, which allowed the identification of a clean signal from this small data set. Using a sample of 53 candidates based on the decays → , , and , we measure the lifetime to be ±0.06 psec.
