Abstract
The associated particle method of neutron detection has been used to reduce the background in measurements of the total cross section using neutrons from the D(d,n)He3 reaction and to measure the time-of-flight of the neutrons that are inelastically scattered when elements are bombarded with T(d,n)He4 neutrons. The techniques used are described. Keywords
