Enzymatische Darstellung und Eigenschaften einiger Desulfoglucosinolate / Enzymatic Preparation and Properties of Some Desulfoglucosinolates

Abstract
10 different desulfo-glucosinolates belonging to 9 different homologous series have been isolated from the parent glucosinolates by means of a glucosinolate sulfohydrolase from the edible snail Helix pomatia. They were characterized by the following physical-chemical data: molecular weight, melting point, wavelength of the absorption maximum in the UV-region, molar absorption coefficient at this maximum, angle of optical rotation and Rf-values (thin layer and paper chromatography).
