Abstract
A series of 1-R-5-alkoxy-3H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2(1H)-ones was prepared and evaluated for CNS depressant activity. Several of these compounds, in particular, 7-chloro-5-ethoxy-1-methyl-3H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2(1H)-one, gave a profile and activity level similar to diazepam when measured in mice. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
