Coulomb Forces in Quantum-Mechanical Three-Body Problems

A method for handling the three-body problem with two of the particles charged is presented in terms of the corresponding uncharged problem. Coulomb wave functions are used in the relative coordinate of the charged particles and the resulting expressions subjected to an approximation. The technique should be useful for ${\mathrm{He}}^3$ calculations.
