Abstract
An important difficulty which has to be solved in OFDM transmission systems is the large peak-to-average power ratio of the OFDM signal. Without any measures, the signal is limited by the power amplifier in the transmitter which causes interference both of the signal itself and in adjacent frequency bands. A method is proposed which considerably reduces the peak-to-average power ratio of the OFDM signal by means of signal processing. Keywords
