Abstract
The ionization curves of CO2 and N2O caused by electronic impact have been measured for various ranges of ionizing electron energy. For both ions, CO2+ and N2O+, a structure consisting mainly of breaks in the curve has been observed. Some of those breaks have been related to excited electronic states of the ions, and others, near threshold, to vibrational states. Keywords
