Abstract
Optical pumping signals with Rb have been detected at temperatures ranging from 50 to 850°C. Spin-exchange signals have been detected with Ag (at 750°C), Li (at 400°C), and with electrons, hydrogen, and nitrogen over the entire temperature range. A preliminary value for the hfs separation is given.
