Abstract
The preparation and properties of the complexes trans-NiMeX(PPri 3)2(I), where X = Cl, Br, or l, and NiMe2(Ph2P·CH2·CH2·PPh2)(II) are described. The complexes (I) react with triphenylphosphine to give the complexes NiX(PPh3)3, X = Cl, Br, or l, and NiMel(PPri 3)2 reacts with methyl iodide to give [PPri 3Me][Nil3PPri 3]. Complex (II) reacts with phenol to give the phenoxy-derivative Ni(Ph2P·CH2·CH2·PPh2)Me(OPh).Keywords
