Abstract
The effects of high pressures on the transport properties have been investigated in and ( I. In both crystals the threshold fields for unpinning the charge-density-wave (CDW) domains are greatly depressed at high pressures. These effects are interpreted as arising mainly from the enhancement of the CDW coherence length.
