Abstract
Non-oncogenic infectious agents and diseases encountered during the transmission of experimental tumors, particularly of mice, whether by transplantation or cell-free induction, have been considered. Their occurrence, biology and interaction with neoplastic agents and diseases are discussed. Included are mouse hepatitis and pneumonias, the lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) agent, eperythrozoonosis, a paralytic disease associated with reticular neoplasms of the mouse, and others. Certain oncogenic agents which may exist as passengers in unrelated tumors also have been briefly considered. Keywords
