Abstract
Non‐divergent and irrotational projection operators are proposed and implemented in a FORTRAN program for the direct vector solution of Laplacian electric and magnetic fields, using finite element approximations. It is shown that this approach, in addition to giving continuous electric and magnetic fields, yields far more accurate results compared to the regular potential formulations. Some properties of the matrices are derived. Keywords
