Abstract
The increment in liver cholesterol and liver total lipid induced by cholesterol feeding in the rat was largely counteracted by concurrent feeding of Gum Guar, Locust Bean Gum or carrageenan at a 10% level in the diet. Effects were similar to, although slightly less marked, than that obtained with a comparable amount of pectin N.F.Keywords
