Hemangiopericytoma of the spinal cord

Abstract
A recent case of hemangiopericytoma of the spinal cord is presented and 2 others are detailed. The literature is reviewed, and similarity between this tumor and meningiomas is noted. All spinal cord meningiomas previously encountered at the Mayo Clinic were reexamined. This search revealed 2 additional cases and brings to 5 the number of spinal cord hemangiopericytomas reported.
