Abstract
20 normal rats detected salt in solns. of 1 part salt to 2,000 parts water. 8 adrenalectomized rats distinguished between water and salt soln. in a conc. of 1:33,000. Adrenalectomized rats showed a craving for salt offered in amts. which could not have had any beneficial effect. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
