Further Applications in Statistics of the T m (x) Bessel Function

Abstract
The difference and ratio tests are discussed for a number of statistical coefficients, such as [chi]2, [sigma]2, [chi]2, n2, [eta]2, O2, which on certain hypotheses as to the parent population obey accurately or approximately the type III form of distribution. The difference of two like statistical coefficients follows the Tm (Y) Bessel Function, or in some cases the more general skew form e''[rho]Y T m (Y). Tables are provided to facilitate the use of the 2 tests. In most cases the difference test is more "stringent" than the ratio test. Difficulties may arise in the x 2 test if the 2 series from which x 2 is obtained are of very different sizes in the case when their relative sizes are wholly arbitrary.
