Abstract
It is shown theoretically that sensitized fluorescence provided by indirect excitation of analytes via a donor compound under certain conditions leads to lower concentration detection limits than attainable with direct fluorescence detection. The method is only applicable in small-bore liquid chromatography. Preliminary experiments support the theoretical considerations. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
